High-Definition Power Doppler Ultrasound
Tests in 2D, 3D, or 4D can be run. This capability allows to perform specific tests such as full abdominal ultrasound, urological, arterial vs venous blood, vascular, and B-flow (black & white blood flow visualization), among others. One of the latest studies is pregnancy ultrasound that allows 4D high-definition dynamic reconstruction of fetal physiognomy and early detection of developmental problems (cleft lip, spina bifida, and spinal injuries). Another feature for this equipment is image printing or CD writing.
Minimally invasive surgeries can be performed with this equipment. The main advantage for this kind of procedure is avoiding large surgical wounds in patients because the actual incision is no greater than the thickness of a pencil. A small device with a lens or chip is introduced through one of these small lacerations and connected to a video camera especially designed for surgery.
